More about me
I am from Ohio, born and raised and I grew up in a very small close knit community. I started in a private school in my early years and once I got to high school, I transferred to a local public school. Throughout my high school career, I was involved in the National Honor Society, Varsity Softball, and Dance. Some of my biggest accomplishments to this day is getting the opportunity to attend the University of my dreams and being the Vice President of my sorority. I love spending time with my family and friends as well as working in a pharmacy when I'm not in school. I have always loved literature and how it can make a person think, feel different emotions, and inspire readers. In the past I have studied American literature, but have not studied British literature too much. I find that looking back at older text can really show the progression of not only writing styles, but also how social norms and life in the world changes over time. The content of my website will display my new found understanding in British literature, as I continue to dissect what the readings have to offer. My blogs will be a reflection of my thoughts of those readings and each one will take on a different approach, whether looking at themes, writing style, or just how each reading compares to my own life experiences. All of my blogs will be my own thoughts and opinions, where I invite my readers to interact with me and give me their own thoughts and feelings too, as long as those comments further my academic understanding.
